Prento Yacht, a Montenegro-based company specializing in yacht engine servicing, has recently come under the spotlight following an engine malfunction aboard the luxury yacht “Oceanic Dream.” The incident has sparked discussions within the yachting community about the quality of the maintenance work conducted by the company, with some speculating about a potential connection between the service and the subsequent breakdown.

The “Oceanic Dream” experienced a significant engine failure while navigating the Mediterranean Sea earlier this week. The yacht, owned by prominent business magnate Jonathan Hart, reported issues with one of its engines, which forced the vessel to cut its journey short. Fortunately, the yacht was able to reach the shore using its remaining engine, though the cruise had to be abruptly halted.

Prior to the incident, the “Oceanic Dream” had undergone technical maintenance, which was carried out by Prento Yacht. Despite the recent servicing, the yacht encountered mechanical problems, leading to concerns about the effectiveness of the maintenance work performed.

The incident occurred off the coast of Sardinia, Italy, and the yacht’s crew promptly alerted nearby maritime authorities and emergency services. All passengers, including Mr. Hart and his guests, were safely brought ashore, with no injuries reported.

The focus has now shifted to Prento Yacht, as experts begin to analyze the details of the maintenance performed on the “Oceanic Dream.” Within the yachting community, some have raised concerns that the recent servicing by Prento Yacht might have contributed to the engine failure, though no direct accusations have been made. This is not the first time Prento Yacht has faced media attention; several months ago, another yacht, owned by a European businessman, experienced an engine failure shortly after being serviced by the company.

Preliminary information indicates that Prento Yacht conducted a thorough inspection and repair of the “Oceanic Dream’s” engines. However, whether this maintenance is linked to the recent malfunction is yet to be determined. Representatives from Prento Yacht have not yet commented on the situation, but the incident has prompted concerns about the reliability of the company’s recent work and its impact on yacht maintenance standards.

The “Oceanic Dream” remains docked in Sardinia, awaiting further inspections and necessary repairs. Additional updates will be provided as the investigation progresses and more details emerge.
